The poster was inspired by a spontaneous collage created with magazine clippings, black ink and yellow paint. The elements and layout of the original collage were translated into an informational poster for a dual piano concert. The final iteration of the poster uses carefully designed typography and imagery to capture the duality of the event. The movement of the piece evokes the spirit of the music, and the abstract nature of the elements will intrigue viewers into finding the shapes in the poster while communicating the message as their eyes follow the lines of the space and information.
