"Brunelleschi's Architecture Book", 2007

Charged with creating a six-chapter publication on the subject of our choosing, a book was developed with Filippo Brunelleschi, an Italian architect from the Renaissance, as the subject. Both English and Italian text were included in the book, which presented particular design challenges when laying out each of the pages. The typography was carefully set into each of the chapters, the English set in a serif face, the Italian in a sans-serif. The final publication is a carefully considered balance of imagery and type that is elegant and informative.
